This is a series of 8 programmes celebrating the Gaelic writer Norman Campbell ( Tormod a' Bhocsair ) 's 70th birthday in October 2012. In the last programme, presented by Maureen Macleod, she and Norman continue their programmes recorded on location in Edinburgh recalling Norman's time there in the 60s.

They begin their journey at Schines House Place where he shared a flat and where they held a party or two. Some of Edinburgh's literati - Robert Garioch, Sydney Goodsir Smith, Hugh MacDiarmid, Norman MacCaig - would also attend. They then pay a visit to Sandy Bell's pub which was Norman and company's local. He recalls his time in Edinburgh very fondly at a time of great political and social change - kitchen sink dramas were appearing, satire, drugs etc.

He would have stayed in Edinburgh if Gaelic had got more of a foothold there, but he then attended Jordanhill College and taught in Glasgow, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He was sad to leave Edinburgh but always enjoyed visiting the city.
