Including Mark Simpson in Debussy: Premiere Rhapsodie. Signum Quartet in Schnittke: String Quartet No 3. Ruby Hughes (soprano) in Chausson: Poeme de l'amour et de la mer, along with Trish Clowes.

A series of programmes over the Christmas season celebrating and showcasing the talents of the 大象传媒 Radio 3 New Generation Artists and welcoming the new intake onto the scheme. The Signum quartet tackle the strange sound-world of Alfred Schnittke's third quartet and Ruby Hughes joins the 大象传媒 Symphony Orchestra in Chausson's Poeme de l'amour et de la mer (Poem of Love and the Sea). British clarinettist and composer Mark Simpson - who joins the scheme this year - features heavily, beginning the programme with Debussy's Premiere Rhapsodie, following with Poulenc's melodic clarinet sonata.
