21 people are sentenced to death over soccer violence in Egypt which ended with 74 people dead. Hundreds of motorists have been stuck in snow on motorways in the North of England.

* A court in Egypt has sentenced 21 people to death over clashes at a football stadium in Port Said last year. More than seventy people died in the violence.
* There's been major disruption in the North of England overnight due to heavy snowfall. The North West has been particularly badly affected and it led to hundreds of motorists being stranded in their cars on the M6 near Wigan.
* Football legends Gordon Banks and Roger Hunt celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Pool Panel.
