Susan Hulme reports as Gordon Brown's former spin doctor offers the coalition some advice. Damian McBride tells David Cameron don't try to announce 'your way out of a crisis'.

Susan Hulme reports from Westminster as David Cameron and Ed Miliband face each other at Prime Minister's Questions. The exchanges were dominated by the economy. The Prime Minister said the loss of the UK's triple-A credit rating showed that the coalition must work harder to reduce the deficit. The Labour leader, Ed Miliband, said the development was a humiliation for the Government. Away from the debating chamber Gordon Brown's former spin doctor offered the Coalition some advice. Damian McBride warned David Cameron about the dangers of trying to announce "your way out of a crisis'.
