Liz chats to Chris Frantz of Tom Tom Club, who recently released the Downtown Rockers ep, their first material in 10 years.
They formed the band in 1981, initially as a side project to Talking Heads. Between 1981 and 2000 they released 5 studio albums. They're best known for the singles Word Rappinghood and the heavily sampled Genius of Love, both of which appeared on their self titled debut album.
Liz also gives listeners the chance to show-off their musical knowledge with themed tune suggestions, and chats to a listener about their favourite album in All Killer No Filler, which this week features Bon Iver.
