A young woman paralysed in a car crash says she was inexperienced and driving far too fast. Sophie Morgan was just 19 and had just passed her A-level exams when the car she was driving careered out of control and overturned - changing her life forever.
The parents of a student doctor who died after taking a banned slimming pill tell Victoria that they hope their daughter's death will stop anyone else from taking the drug. DNP is a pesticide but it's also marketed as a weight-loss aid. 23-year-old Sarah Houston who was training to become a doctor at Leeds University and died as a result of taking DNP.
Cosmetic procedures such as botox and lip fillers which are used to plump the skin should only be available on prescription according to a report on the cosmetic surgery industry. It says that non-surgical procedures such as fillers, laser hair removal and botox are "almost entirely unregulated". Victoria speaks to victims like Laura Summers who had lip fillers which left her top lip badly swollen.
