How do you cope with dementia in your family?
Its one of the most harrowing things to watch - a loved one starts losing their faculties...losing their memory...losing their independence
And you have to be there, to cope with all of it, to look after a person who YOU barely recognise - and in the latter stages probably doesn't recognise YOU.
We're talking about this today because - a police force has decided to fit some dementia patients who keep going missing with GPS tracking devices - saying it will reduce the amount of stress families go through - and cut down on the time police spend searching for them.
But that's not REALLY what I want to talk about today....... I want to hear from YOU....what are YOU are going through....
How do you cope with dementia in your family?
