A Labour MP says she doesn't believe payday loan companies who say they are improving their business practices after claims the industry is 'out of control'.
Payday loan companies have defended themselves after Citizens Advice said the payday loan industry is "out of control", offering loans to people under the age of 18, to those with mental health issues, and to individuals who were drunk when they applied. The head of the charity Help for Heroes says it won't accept any donations raised by the English Defence League, after its leader Tommy Robinson set up a fundraising page for the charity.
