Laura Marling is live in session playing tracks from her new album Once I Was An Eagle; this was recorded at the Three Crows studio of regular producer and instrumentalist Ethan Johns (Kings of Leon, Ryan Adams, Vaccines), with Laura's lifelong friend Ruth de Turberville on cello.
This is Laura's fourth album - an achievement in itself for a 23 year old. She won 2011 Brit Award for Best British Female Solo Artist, and has been Mercury Music Prize nominated twice. Laura released her debut album Alas I Cannot Swim in 2007.

Lauren welcomes in the weekend with all the latest movie news in Friday Film Club and Memory Tapes features five top songs taken from a listener's old and much loved mixtape. Plus, some brilliant free music in MPFree and take some time to enjoy a rather fabulous Headphone Moment.
