With Singer-Songwriter Eric Burdon Picking his Tracks of My Years

Singer-songwriter Eric Burdon joins Ken to pick his Tracks of My Years, with music from Nina Simone and Eddie Cochran. Plus, the Record and Album of the Week and PopMaster.

All this week, singer songwriter Eric Burdon formerly of The Animals picks the Tracks Of My Years. His first two choices include a sixties classic from the High Priestess of Jazz Nina Simone that was successfully covered in a blue rock style by The Animals. Eric's second choice is a much covered fifties favourite from American rockabilly artist Eddie Cochran. There's the Record and Album Of The Week and the Monday round of the music quiz PopMaster. The Animals were among the first wave of pioneering bands involved in the British music invasion of America and Eric has been universally praised for possessing one of the best singing voices in the business.He now tours under the name Eric Burdon and The Animals and earlier this year he released the solo album 'Til Your River Runs Dry.
