Joshua Bell

Violinist Joshua Bell introduces music featuring string works by Schubert, Bloch and Saint-Saens, music inspired by bluegrass and film, and a homage to great violinists.

In the lead up to his appearance at this year's 大象传媒 Proms violinist Joshua Bell introduces a personal selection of music for a Saturday afternoon.

The American violinist Joshua Bell is one of the world's most sought after and respected musicians. For Saturday Classics he introduces a personal selection of music reflecting his wide range of music-making, featuring masterpieces from the string repertoire by Schubert, Bloch and Saint-Sa毛ns; music inspired by bluegrass and film; and a hommage to some great violinists of the past. He also reflects his more recent journey with the Academy of St Martin in Fields as a conductor.
