Top of The Lake, Run, and Wadjda

Saudi director Haifaa al-Mansour talks about her award-winning film Wadjda, Edith gets to know Edinburgh band Young Fathers and The World's End and Top of the Lake are reviewed.

Award winning film 'Wadjda' is a German/Saudi Arabian film, written and directed by Haifaa Al-Mansour. Shot entirely in Saudi Arabia it is the first feature-length movie made by a female Saudi director. The inspirational Al-Mansour chats to Edith about the character of 11 year old Wadjda, the subject of freedom and emotional abandonment, and the realities of directing from the back of a van!

The World's End, out this week and starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost is reviewed by a feisty panel of screen fans, alongside new TV shows 'Top Of The Lake' and 'Run'.

Edith meets another emerging artist in Getting To Know You - this time it's the turn of Young Fathers from Edinburgh, who play the Latitude Festival this weekend.
