In the mid 80's Dave Pearce launched the 大象传媒's first ever Hip Hop Show - A Fresh Start To The Week on 大象传媒 Radio London. The show became the first port of call for many of Rap music's rising stars at the time including Run DMC, Mantronix Afrika Bambaataa, T La Rock and LL Cool J as well as providing a showcase for new up and coming unsigned UK talent.

It's even been immortalised as forming part of the intro to Public Enemy's legendary album 'It Takes A Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back.

In this show Dave is reunited for the first time in 25 years with Roger Johnson (The first ever DMC world mixing champion '85) who was the weekly resident guest mixer on the show as they dig through the crates to rewind some of the big tunes rocking the scene at a time regarded by many as the golden years of Hip Hop.
