Counter-terrorism powers - are they too heavy-handed? Or necessary to keep us safe? The Police are allowed to stop anyone at UK borders under schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act, without having "reasonable suspicion" that that person is involved with terrorism. The authorities say that this will protect the country from potential threats but critics have argued that the law is being misused, including for the detention of David Miranda - the partner of a Guardian journalist. So do you think terrorism laws are out of control? Or do you think they could go further if it means any potential threat is dealt with?
