With Bonnie Tyler choosing the Tracks of My Years
Bonnie Tyler chooses two favourites on Tracks of My Years, with music from Aretha Franklin and Meat Loaf. Plus, PopMaster, love song dedications and Record and Album of the Week.
Welsh singer-songwriter Bonnie Tyler picks two influential songs in the Tracks of My Years. Today she talks about her passion for a ballad by Aretha Franklin that was co-written by Aretha's sister Carolyn and produced by the Queen Of Soul herself ably assisted by the great Quincy Jones. Plus there's a signature song from Meat Loaf which has passed into musical folklore as being the last song he performs at all his live gigs. There's also the daily love song dedications, the PopMaster music quiz and another song from the Album Of The Week. In a remarkable career spanning nearly four decades, Bonnie has been both a triple Brit and Grammy Award nominee.
