Britain, France and the US are pushing for a strong UN resolution with serious consequences for Syria if President Assad's government doesn't meet deadlines to give up its chemical weapons. The Business Secretary, Vince Cable, has launched a fierce attack on the Conservatives, branding their tactics "callous", "cynical" and "ugly". Also, a Home Office Minister says we shouldn't be fearful of discussing whether young Muslim girls should wear the full veil.
