Artist of the Week: Janet Baker, who celebrates her 80th birthday this year.

Sarah's guest this week is the stage and screen actor, Tim Pigott-Smith. After a long career in smaller roles, Tim got his big break with the leading role of Ronald Merrick in the 1984 television serial The Jewel in the Crown. His distinctive voice has made him a popular narrator, and he provided the commentary for a series on the British Royal Family, entitled Monarchy: The Royal Family at Work. His film career has included The Gangs of New York, Alexander, Johnny English, The Remains of the Day, V for Vendetta and the James Bond film, Quantum of Solace. Tim is a regular stage actor in Shakespearean and Greek roles, and in 2011 he took the title role in King Lear at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds. He is also a noted radio actor, appearing in many productions on 大象传媒 Radio 4.
