Matthew Sweet introduces music from this week's featured new release, Gavin Hood's "Ender's Game" with music by Steve Jablonsky, alongside a selection of film scores on an apocalyptic theme.

Steve Jablonsky is from the Hans Zimmer stable of American film composers, at Remote Control Productions, and is perhaps best known for his music for Michael Bay's "Transformers" series of films.

As well as music by Jablonsky, this week's programme also features apocalyptic scores by David Arnold, Danny Elfman, Jerry Goldsmith, Russell Garcia and Bernard Herrmann.
