'He'd just secured a good job as an IT consultant...this was the last pizza delivery he was going to make.' Sheffield police appeal for help after the murder of a 25-year-old man.
Police in Sheffield have been describing the "brutal murder" of a Sri Lankan man who was stabbed to death on his final shift as a pizza delivery driver. Thavisha Peiris who was 25 had accepted a new job as an IT consultant. A senior Doctor tells this programme that government plans to charge migrants staying in the UK a 拢200 NHS surcharge don't go far enough. Professor Terence Stephenson, who's chairman of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges says the charge might be regarded as a "snip" for someone coming to the UK in expectation of having major surgery on the NHS - and the levy should be "much higher".
