As it is Scottish Interfaith Week, Louise White asks if more should be done to challenge negative perceptions of Islam.
It's Scottish Interfaith Week at the moment yet, according to the Muslim women's resource centre Amina, the 3 phrases young people think of when it comes to Muslim Women are "A Threat", "A Foreigner" and "oppressed". Whilst school kids associate "Muslim" with words such as "terrorist", "9/11", "scary" and "curry".
