Education Minister says schools need more reform, as figures show Britain's pupils trail behind their international peers. For the first time, the UK hasn't made the top 20 in maths, reading or science while countries such as Singapore, Korea and Japan are way ahead
More problems for RBS.... Last night Royal Bank of Scotland, NatWest and Ulster Bank customers were unable to make online and card payments. This morning RBS apologised and said their systems were now back to normal.... but we hear from customers who say cash is disappearing from their accounts.
And we look at how well prepared the NHS in England is for the coming winter. Since September, the government has added an extra 拢400 million pounds to help some trusts cope until spring. But more than half of A&Es are still failing to meet the four hour waiting time target.
