Mary Anne Hobbs is joined by drummer Pauli Stanley-McKenzie (Africa Express, Gorillaz Sound System, Kindness) to find out what it is like being a session musician.

What is it like being a session musician?
Mary Anne Hobbs explores the mysterious world of session playing through classic tracks, archive audio and a guest appearance from Pauli PSM.
Pauli is one of the UK's foremost session drummers. He plays with Kindness, Gorillaz Sound System, and the Africa Express, alongside the likes of Damon Albarn, John Paul Jones, Paul McCartney, Peter Hook, Baaba Maal and Amadou & Mariam.
