Matthew Sweet takes a look at music and Walt Disney including scores from the recent releases "Frozen" based on the Snow Queen, and "Saving Mr Banks" recalling the story behind the making of Mary Poppins. The programme also explores the changing sound of Disney film scores from an extensive back catalogue. Starting with the 1937 pioneering cartoon feature, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" with music by Frank Churchill and Leigh Harline, Matthew explores the work of the great Disney composers highlighting music from "Pinocchio", "Bambi",'Peter Pan", "Treasure Island", "The Lady and the Tramp", "Jungle Book", "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", "Mary Poppins", "The Little Mermaid", "The Lion King" and "Frozen".
