Desmond hunts through his personal record collection of more than 250,000 tracks for songs and music on the theme of Going Solo - singers and the bands they left behind.
Desmond shares good tunes, some unexpected ones and a few you may never have heard before from the worlds of classical music, pop standards, jazz , shows and films. All served with a sprinkling of interpretations from modern artistes who dig into the music of yesterday to make the 'music go 'round' today.
