Janice Forsyth speaks to Louise Brealey who plays Molly in Sherlock, and crime writers Stuart MacBride and Margaret Murphy discuss forensic science in fiction.

Louise Brealey, best known for playing Molly Hooper in Sherlock, talks to Janice about her upcoming performance of Miss Julie at Glasgow's Citizens Theatre, writing her own plays, and on-screen snogs with Benedict Cumberbatch.

Sticking with the detective theme, Janice gets out the surgical gloves and ultraviolet lights to talk forensic science and fiction with crime writers Stuart MacBride and Margaret Murphy, and scientist Professor Naimh Nic Daeid.

Sajeela Kershi takes a light hearted look at the hazards a trip to the beach can entail for some Muslim holidaymakers in this week's Comedy Monologue.

Cumbernauld born Lily Jane Taylor plays Wendy in a new acrobatic extravaganza of a performance of Peter Pan - she explains the challenges of singing whilst dangling upside down.

Director, actor and singer Cora Bissett has a busy 2014 ahead of her - she tells Janice about the multitude of projects she's working on, including Grit, based on the life and music of Martyn Bennett, for the Commonwealth Cultural Programme.

And singer and actor Frances Thorburn and pianist David Farrell play some songs from their new album.
