Episode 2
In the tale of equine love, Marengo faces being put to stud, whilst Copenhagen discovers literature. Stars Stephen Fry. From January 2014.
More recently discovered, passionate letters between Napoleon Bonaparte's mount, Marengo, and the Duke of Wellington's Copenhagen.
Still cruelly sundered by fate despite the war having ended, Marengo is put rather unwillingly out to stud and discovers the overwhelming and exhausting joys of parenthood.
Meanwhile, Copenhagen finds a new way of passing the time - writing racy horse fan-fiction, a genre for which he turns out to have a remarkable flair...
Continuing the world's first epistolary equine love story.
