Ed Iglehart grew up in the segregated Florida of the 1940s and 50s, in a family where each of his eight great-grandparents had owned slaves.听 The segregation mantra was 鈥榮eparate but equal鈥� and everything from theatre entrances, beaches, buses and schools had separate provision for Black and White.听 Ed, who now lives in Scotland, 听tells Saturday Live how he was brought up with racism, and how, as the civil rights movement gained momentum, he came to be a part of it.
