Composer Roxanna Panufnik introduces a selection of music inspired by her roots in Poland and by her father Andrzej, born a hundred years ago this year.

Her idea is to place her father's music in the context of the music of his native Poland so she offers a selection of Polish works from across a thousand years of history - both familiar and unfamiliar: from Poland's oldest hymn - the "Bogurodzica" - through works by Pekiel, Chopin, Moniuszko, Szymanowski, Bacewicz, Lutoslawski and Panufnik.
