The leading period-instrument string quartet the Quatuor Mosa茂ques makes a much-awaited return to the International Chamber Music Season.
Founded in 1985, and using gut strings and historical performance techniques, the Quatuor Mosa茂ques spearheaded a new movement towards performing music of the Classical period in a manner that Haydn and Mozart would have instinctively recognised. Tonight they play some of the greatest quartets of that period.
