International Women's Day

As International Women's Day approaches, Nihal asks if Asian women have a strong voice and whether they hold other women back.

At 10, do Asian women have a strong voice? We're asking as it's International Women's Day on Saturday and today we want to celebrate it! Throughout the show, we'll be looking at different aspects of what it's like to be a woman. Nihal will be joined by the director of Bend It Like Beckham, Gurinder Chadda OBE, actress Sofia Hayat and feminist writer and blogger Taran Bassi.

After 11, Nihal's asking do Asian women hold other women back? As a young Asian woman, do you feel supported by your family? Do your female friends and family members encourage and support you to be all you can be? In the studio to discuss will be Neelam Aggarwal Singh, who was awarded an MBE last year and is now a Deputy Lieutenant for the Queen, Chairperson of the Sikh Women's Alliance Balvinder Saund
and Kinzah Muneeb, an 18 year old A level student.

Later in the show, singers Rita Morar and Tasha Tah will be in the studio, as well as Nisha Sahdev - CEO of her own media company.
