Geordie electronic duo Smoove & Turrell are at the head of the UK funk and soul scene and they'll be in session for The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show. Fronted by John Turrell they mix up contemporary electronic soul rhythms with old school stylings to wonderful effect. And after 2 years of hard work they've delivered a stunning third album 'Broken Toys' which they'll be performing live for the 6 Music listeners. To say Smoove & Turrell are one of the greatest modern Soul acts to emerge from the UK would be an understatement.
