Woman’s Hour has been examining the case for and against the proposal to follow the ‘Nordic model’ in a bid to change the laws on prostitution. Should those who pay for sex be criminalised? Should those who sell sex be decriminalised? Pick up a newspaper or magazine and you will find articles urging you not to eat too much sugar, fat, carbs, and so on. Tessa Marchington & Music In Offices
Tessa founded in 2006. The inspiration came when she saw a sibling coping with a demanding job and not finding the time to make the music he loved. Music In Offices goes into the workplace and offers music teaching programmes to employees. As well as individual music lessons, they also train choirs, and they also set up the original Office Choir of the Year competition. The grand final for this year’s competition is taking place at St John’s Smith Square in London on Tuesday. Director Tessa Marchington joins Jane in the studio to tell her all about it.
