Johnnie revives the spirit of freeform American FM radio, playing the artists nurtured by 'underground' radio and the contemporary musicians who have been influenced by them.
Johnnie revives the spirit of freeform American FM radio broadcast during the late sixties and seventies. Tonight's show features music from Elektra Records' West Coast artists Tim Buckley and The Doors. There are album tracks by FM radio favourites The Doobie Brothers, The James Gang and America; plus a Biff Rose song later covered by David Bowie.
