Shona Summers meets 16 and 17-year-olds who'll be able to vote in the Scottish independence referendum.
With six months to go, what are the big issues and how will the result affect young people across the UK? We start in a farm on the very edge of Scotland, with England just a few fields away. That's the home of Kirsty, one of Generation 2014 - a group of 50 young voters the 大象传媒 is following throughout referendum year.
In Glasgow we meet more of them, including Gaelan, who lives in the far north in Shetland. We eavesdrop on a gig by comedian Iain Stirling. Is the referendum funny? The Yes Campaign and Better Together get 90 seconds each to sell their arguments.
And Newsbeat's political reporter Jim Taylor is on hand to explain what it all means.
