Scottish Cup Semi-Final

Rob Maclean presents live coverage of the William Hill Scottish Cup semi-final between St Johnstone and Aberdeen. Commentary comes from Liam McLeod and Billy Dodds.

Tommy Wright's St Johnstone take on Derek McInnes' Aberdeen in a repeat of this season's League Cup semi-final, a match the Dons won 4-0. The Perth side will be hoping for a change in fortunes which would also make history for them as they have never reached a Scottish Cup Final in their 130 year history. Their last semi-final was in 2011 when they lost out 3-0 to Motherwell.

It was the club's eighth appearance in the semi-finals and their eighth defeat. In a strange twist Derek McInnes was the St Johnstone manager that day. He's now in his first full season as Aberdeen manager and the Pittodrie club have enjoyed a resurgence in fortunes under his guidance.

They lifted the 2014 Scottish League Cup - their first trophy win since 1995 - and are battling it out for second place in the Premiership. The venue is Ibrox Stadium, with Hampden out of action as it prepares for the Commonwealth Games. Plus highlights of the other semi-final, between Rangers and Dundee Utd.
