Brian Matthew kicks off your weekend with a collection of hits and obscurities.

Brian's got plenty of musical delights in store this week, with tracks from The Byrds, Lance Fortune, Marvin Gaye, Susan Maughan, The Small Faces, The Cookies, Andy Williams, Billy J Kramer & The Dakotas and The Fifth Dimension.

He's also got the 1963 offering 'Not Too Little - Not Too Much' by Chris Sandford who is widely speculated as being the first soap star to achieve a hit record. His big break came when he played Walter Potts, The Singing Milkman in Coronation Street, performing this song in an edition of the programme in early 1964.
