Billy Connolly's Big Send Off looks at how different groups of people prepare for and deal with death. Louise asks: how important is a send off?

Billy Connolly's Big Send Off, a two-part series for ITV, is screened on wednesday evening. Connolly, now 71 years old, has travelled the world looking at how different groups of people prepare for, and deal with, death. Billy has always wanted to explore the subject because he's "genuinely fascinated by the way we as humans treat death, a subject that is quite literally the ultimate universal experience yet so often avoided."

Have you discussed what you would like to happen after you die? If you have made plans for your funeral - what do they involve? How important is it to you that you have a say in your send off? Or does the whole subject send you cold?
