Lissan House is a magical and enchanting place near Cookstown, County Tyrone, and it came runner-up in the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s Restoration programme back in 2003. Now, after years of struggling they've managed to gather enough money to make the house safe and secure and give the outside of it a facelift. It's a place with an amazing history – Anne Marie took a tour of Lissan House in the company of local man Neil Watt, one of the Directors of the Lissan House Trust<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Lissan House is now open for tours and there's a special Lissan at War event on Saturday 10th May at 11am with music Glen Miller style, dancing, living history, and archery.

The Islander Festival
It’s festival time, but a festival with a difference – jump aboard a boat, climb a hill top, connect with nature and explore a magical landscape that only Lough Erne in County Fermanagh can provide. That's the notion behind the first ever Islander Festival on until Monday, at islands throughout the lough. Belcoo man Barry Flanagan is Tourism Officer for the Upper Lough Erne Region and will give us a ful rundown of the festival on the lakesÌý <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
