The cookery competition reaches the last of the semi-finals, and the final five contestants have just one challenge - to create a meal that will greatly impress John and Gregg.
It's the last of the semi-finals, and it's do or die for the final five contestants battling to win their place in the prestigious MasterChef final week.
They have just one challenge: to create a meal for John and Gregg that will simply knock their socks off. The judges have no idea what they are going to taste, as they set the clock and remove themselves to the dining room, leaving the contestants to manage their own timing and concentrate on the dish that will keep them in the competition.
They have one hour and fifteen minutes to create their masterpiece.
Only the four best amateurs will take the next step into the coveted finals, where the possibility of becoming MasterChef Champion 2014 suddenly becomes tangible.
For one, the MasterChef dream will be over.
