Richard Egarr (director / harpsichord)

Four of Bach's most joyful works, from performers who've become renowned for their Bach playing - the Academy of Ancient Music and Music Director Richard Egarr.

Richard Egarr directs two orchestral suites - starting with No 3, which features the famous Air on the G string - and plays two harpsichord concertos, which Bach composed for performance in a Leipzig coffee houses, probably with one of his many sons as soloists. Never work with children or animals? Perhaps it's safe if you keep it in the family. Especially if your family is as large and as musical as the Bachs.
