Indications of Spring
Euan meets Mervyn Brown, a shepherd and farmer, who has been collecting data on the arrival of spring for several decades. He shows him the signs that spring has sprung and discusses the reasons behind this season arriving earlier than normal.
Cycling Liability
Dougie meets campaigners trying to change the law to offer greater protection to cyclists. The concept of 鈥減resumed liability鈥 would mean that if a cyclist and a motorist were involved in a collision the motorist would be assumed to be liable under civil law unless they could prove otherwise.聽

Monitor Farm
It is ten years since the first 鈥淢onitor Farm鈥 was established in Scotland. The concept originated in New Zealand and involves farmers opening their farm gates and their accounts to fellow farmers. Euan meets some of the farmers in the scheme and finds out how being a 鈥淢onitor Farm鈥 has improved their businesses.
Commonwealth athlete
In the first of a three part mini-series on aspiring Commonwealth Games Athletes training in the Scottish countryside, we meet triathlete Florie McLeish. She does much of her training in the hills above Bridge of Allan and she is currently waiting to hear if she has been selected for the Scottish Commonwealth Games team.
