#Hay6Music - Create your ultimate literary-themed playlist

Nemone invites listeners to choose two hours of music inspired by literature as 6 Music broadcasts from the Hay Festival.

Nemone, sitting in for Tom Robinson, hosts 6 Music's unique interactive show where the audience collaborates online to choose the playlist.

As 6 Music wraps up a series of live broadcasts from The Hay Festival, Now Playing brings the day to a close at the studios back in London by inviting listeners to choose two hours of music inspired by literature.

Many musicians have used literary references in their songs: from Kate Bush's 'Wuthering Heights' and The Doors' 'The End' to Bruce Springsteen's 'The Ghost of Tom Joad' and The Verve's 'History'. And, of course, The Beatles sang about a 'Paperback Writer'.

As well as compiling a playlist around listeners' book and poetry-inspired music suggestions, the show will also feature highlights from 6 Music's shows at this year's legendary arts and literature festival at Hay-on-Wye in Wales.

Song suggestions are invited via Twitter with the hashtag #Hay6Music, by posting on the show blog or the 6 Music and Now Playing Facebook pages, dragging tracks into the collaborative Spotify and Rdio playlists, or via text and email.
