Comedian Jo Brand defends social workers, describing them as 'damned if they do or damned if they don't'. Also, Carol Cleveland on working with Monty Python.
Jo Brand's mother was a social worker, while Jo herself went on to become a psychiatric nurse before turning her hand to comedy. She told Richard Bacon that the profession of social work is "not rewarded in any way by the positive gaze of the British public", arguing the work has become more impersonal and less highly valued.
The "7th Python" Carol Cleveland talks about her autobiography and why the team haven't yet started rehearsals for the Monty Python reunion shows next month.
