Derek MacKay and co-host Calum MacDonald present entertainment, craic and great music. In this show, singer songwriter Rob Green is in the pub and there is music from Ashton Lane.
This week, presenter Derek MacKay and co-host Calum MacDonald welcome special guests and teams of regulars to the pub.
Singer-songwriter Rob Green will chat to Derek about his music, songs and inspirations and perform his own composition, 'Underdog'. Scottish family group Ashton Lane will sing two songs, including 'One Kiss Later', and lead singer Esther O' Connor will talk about the band's 'Kitchen Sessions'.
Three teams of pub punters will take part in the Gun Sgot quiz and compete for this week's trophy. Andrew Grace, Gillian MacNeill and Fiona Rennie will lead their teams through several rounds of questions and challenges which will test their knowledge of many things, including alcohol. They will pit their wits against Rob Green and decide which one of his stories is fact rather than fiction, and sample a cocktail made by resident mixologist, Mairead Hamilton.
