In a Now Playing first, the band James perform tracks - picked entirely by listeners - live in the 6 Music Studios for this unmissable themed playlist show.
Not only that, alongside their live songs, James' front man Tim Booth will also be on Twitter, interacting with listeners in real-time and sifting through suggestions for non-live tracks to play by other artists thematically linked to the band, as part of this very special #James6Music event.
Since forming in 1982, 6 Music favourites James have become known for a wealth of indie anthems, including Sit Down, Come Home, Born of Frustration, Laid, She's A Star and many more. Out earlier this month, Le Petite Mort marks their 13th studio album.
So get ready for a unique James fest between 6-8pm on Sunday night. Tim will be picking a few tracks that he and the band personally love, to get the ball rolling. But then he needs your suggestions for James tracks they can play live, along with other tracks you'd like to hear.
You can pick classic James tracks, influences, collaborations and any other interesting music connections to help create an unmissable, varied playlist.
In addition to using the hashtag #James6Music on Twitter, song suggestions and comments are invited via the 6 Music and Now Playing Facebook pages, collaborative playlists on Spotify and Rdio, plus email and text.
