The annual tournament at the seaside resort always attracts some of the world's best male and female players eager to fine-tune their grass-court game ahead of Wimbledon. The 2014 field includes former Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova and Frenchman Richard Gasquet, whose skill and grace with a tennis racquet always delights the crowds.
