Tonight Marc has a session from one of Manchester's musical mainstays, Jane Weaver

Although being originally from Liverpool singer, songwriter and guitarist Jane Weaver is a long standing member of the Mancunian music scene. She's been a member of not one but two bands (Kill Laura and Misty Dixon), collaborated with the cream of the local scene, including members of Doves and Elbow and released a string of solo albums starting with Like An Aspen Leaf in 2002. She also runs the Bird record label, best known for the Bearded Ladies compilation.

If that wasn't enough she's also been sampled by Coldplay and appeared on the cover of the Badly Drawn Boy album, Have You Fed the Fish?

Marc's been loving the Hawkwind sampling The Electric Mountain which comes from Jane's new album The Silver Globe out in July.
