Summer Music Season 2014

Sara Mohr-Pietsch previews some of the choral highlights of 2014's summer music season. Plus another of the UK's amateur singing groups in Meet My Choir and Sara's Choral Classic.

In her final live programme before the 大象传媒 Proms, Sara Mohr-Pietsch looks ahead to some of the choral highlights in store over the summer. In our regular Meet My Choir feature at 4.30pm she shines a light on the Greatest Hits Choir, from Thame and High Wycombe, directed by former Swingle singer Carol Canning. At 5pm Guillaume de Machaut's era-defining Messe de Notre Dame is Sara's Choral Classic. And she'll be eavesdropping on two very different choral festivals - the World Choir Games in Riga, and the Street Choirs Festival in Hebden Bridge.
