If you haven't seen the incredible play or read the book by Mark Haddon, then you quite simply must! It has one of the longest titles in the West End, "The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time" and it cleaned up at the 2013 Olivier Awards with a record equaling seven awards including the prestigious Best New Play.

The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time, adapted by Simon Stephens and directed by Marianne Elliott is on at The Gielgud Theatre and taking bookings until 14th February 2015.

Stephen Deuchar, Director of the Art Fund explains all about 鈥淎rt Everywhere 鈥� A Very Very Big Art Show鈥�, which is in its second year.

Art Everywhere will take place on over 30,000 billboards and outdoor sites across the country from 21st July to 31st August.

However, their idyll is about to be rudely interrupted by an advance party of survivors looking to re-establish their own pocket of civilisation.

2. Norte, The End Of History

Cast: Sid Lucerio, Archie Alemania, Angeli Bayani, Mae Paner

Set in the northwest region of the Philippines, we meet two men Fabian and Joaquin who seem to have nothing in common other than they both live in the same area, and they are both in serious arrears to local money lender Magda. One night, Fabian goes to Magda's house and brutally murders both her and her young daughter. While he flees town, Joaquin is arrested for the murders and, after being let down by a legal system too expensive and confusing for him to navigate, he is sentenced to life in prison. Over the next four years, as he tries to make the best of his horrible situation Eliza, his wife,听struggles to provide for her children. As for Fabian, even though he has literally gotten away with murder, he is consumed with a sense of guilt that appears to drive him to the point of madness.

3. Pudsey The Dog: The Movie

Pudsey The Dog The Movie follows cheeky London stray dog, Pudsey (voiced by David Walliams) who is quite happy being a lone ranger and looking out for number one until he meets siblings Molly, George and Tommy . Following her divorce, their mother Gail is moving the family to the sleepy village of Chuffington-on-Sea and Pudsey tags along, to the dismay of their landlord, Mr Thorne and his cat Faustus

4. DVD - The Lego Movie

The wicked Lord Business is determined to destroy the Lego universe and rebuild it using glue - which goes against the very nature of Lego. Mistaken as the 'Special', the only surviving Master Builder, the rather ordinary Emmet is selected to lead a group of figures on a mission to put a stop to Lord Business's evil plan. Emmet is helped by wise wizard Vitruvius, tough girl Wyldstyle and DC superhero Batman, but can he find something extraordinary within himself in order to save the world?

It's been three years since the blockbuster "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes" and Caesar and his colony of apes are back for the sequel "Dawn of The Planet Of The Apes" in cinemas from this weekend.

It has been a decade and much has changed for both the apes and the humans left to survive on earth. Among them is Gary Oldman who plays Dreyfus, their leader, and Keri Russell, a doctor helping to secure the future survival of mankind.

Our Arts Correspondent Thomas Magill caught up with both of them to talk all sorts of monkey business!!

Oscar Wilde wrote The Importance of Being Earnest more than a hundred years ago but it鈥檚 still a firm favourite with theatre goers. This week a new production of the play opened at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London featuring a star studied cast including Martin Jarvis, Cherie Lunghi, Sian Phillips, Christine Kavanagh and Nigel Havers. It鈥檚 a traditional adaptation with a modern twist as our reporter Anna Bailey found out when she went backstage to meet Nigel and Christine.

The Importance of Being Earnest is running at the Harold Pinter Theatre until the 20 September and then goes on UK tour.

Each year, the great and the good of the Crime world gather together in a small Yorkshire town to celebrate one of Britain鈥檚 most popular literature genres. The Harrogate Crime Festival is a mecca for many bookworms, who go to hang out with some of the world鈥檚 best-loved authors and immerse themselves in all things mysterious and murderous. Our Radio 2 Book Club reporter Joe Haddow took a trip to see what goes on.
