'Midnight Cobras' - Tonsstartbandht are an American band who put this 7" out in 2012. They sent me a copy to review and I adored it forever. Slade goes avant garde, the Ottoman Empire at the Gates of Vienna.

'Void 3' - The Rainbow Body is a Reading band who put this out on the local Double Dot Dash label - very good label. This whole album is excellent. This is also 2012, I think.

'Ypsilon in Malaysian Pale' - Edgar Froese's second solo LP was a big hit round our neck of the woods in 1975, especially as Tangerine Dream toured around this time. Here's an edit of its best sequence.

'Funeral March for Amebix, The Mob, Dirt, Antisect, Crude SS, May Blitz, Flower Travellin' Band, Diamanda Galas, Ash Ra Tempel, Guru Guru, Amon Duul, Black Sabbath and German Oak.' - Death Comes Along. From their debut LP released in 1994, Death Comes Along is a Japanese cult quartet led by singer Crow. The second album was seven years later, Crow wore the same shirt on the next cover. This track is one of their most surreal sidelong wipeouts - really gets down to the nitty gritty. They really deserve more airplay.
